- 1979 commenced Taekwondo training at 15 years of age – blackbelt 1989.
- 1993 commenced Hapkido- blackbelt 1997 (International Hapkido Federation, South Korea).
- 1999 South Korea training trip [#1].
- 2001 Melbourne Hapkido Academy dojang opened.
- 2011 National Hapkido competition (Melbourne) coach: demonstration team 1st place.
- 2012 National Hapkido competition (Brisbane) coach: demonstration team 1st place.
- 2013 Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association championships coach: demonstration team 1st place; pairs routine 3rd place.
- 2013 opened Australia’s first permanent purposed built Hapkido dojang.
- 2014 South Korea trips [#2 & #3].
- 2015 Hapki-Sundo – Korean Zen meditation, philosophy and exercise program launched.
- 2017 Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association Branch Master (
KwanJangNim).
- 2018 South Korea team coach at Seongnam KMMKHA regional champioships demonstration teams silver [trip #4].
- 2018 South Korea team coach at Seongnam KMMKHA regional championships pairs routine gold and bronze medals [trip #4].
- 2018 – 2nd trip to Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association for the Master-Instructors course, received technical Master certificate.
- 2019 – 40 years training, teaching, developing and growing Korean martial arts.
- 2020 – Solar Powered the dojang, protecting our environment by striving for Net Zero.
- 2021 – 20th Anniversary of Melbourne Hapkido Academy.
- 2022 – Coach: 2nd Place demonstration team at the Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association 4th World Championships.
- 2022 – Coach: 10 gold, 19 silver and 1 bronze medal for various events at the Korean Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association 4th World Championships.

- Melbourne Hapkido Academy is formally affiliated with the Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association (the first and oldest Hapkido association in the World, since 1963).
- 2024 – 45 years training, teaching, developing and growing Korean martial arts.
- 2024 – [5th] South Korea trip to attend the Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association Master-Instructors course, Masters certificate.
- 2025 – continuing to grow.
