Moo Moo Kwan in Australia

Melbourne Hapkido Academy and Hapkido Brisbane came together on the weekend of the 17th August 2019 under the Korea Moo Moo Kwan Hapkido Association banner to celebrate, train and exchange knowledge.

Alphington 2

2011- Melbourne Hapkido Academy continued to grow and 6 years later we moved around the corner to a bigger dojang.

In 2005 Kew Hapkido Academy becames Melbourne Hapkido Academy and moved to a permanent location in  Alphington, starting a new era.

The Beginning

2001 Master Cairney opens Kew Hapkido Academy (KHA), starting training in the old Holy Trinity Church Community Hall in Kew on Wednesday 4th of July 2001. KHA becomes Melbourne Hapkido Academy in 2005 when we moved to a new dojang in Alphington.
